set in a small-town funeral home, where three distinct characters deliver comedic/dramatic monologues about their intertwined lives and losses. The stories follow a mild-mannered mortician with an unrequited love for a realtor, a thief who steals jewelry from the deceased, and a widow who uncovers her husband's criminal dealings, all connected by the common setting and recurring themes of love, loss, and memory. Darkly funny and touching.
